I tried running in these and knew almost immediately they were a no-go. My feet started hurting way too fast, and the grip on pavement felt seriously sketchy. I’m 100% sure I wouldn’t use these for runs again.

I really wanted these to work out because I remember being excited when I first put them on, hoping they’d become my easy everyday shoes. But after just a short walk, that feeling kind of faded. The soles felt much too thin for daily walking, and my feet started getting sore quickly. I kept trying them for a few days, thinking maybe they just needed breaking in, but every time I wore them I ended up remembering why I didn’t enjoy them the day before. Maybe they’re fine for someone used to this type of shoe, but for me they just weren’t comfortable. I wouldn’t buy them again

I walked through a few puddles in the rain and my socks stayed totally dry, which impressed me. I wasn’t expecting much, and part of me still feels like I shouldn’t trust them too much, but they did the job really well

The shoes look really clean overall, and the colors are about what I was hoping for. I’d say they’re close to the photos and look good in person.

It feels really light and easy to wear, which I liked at first, but it does seem to wear out faster than I expected. Not bad overall, just not perfect.

I ordered from Xero Shoes the shipping took way longer than I expected. Once the shoes arrived, they didn’t fit me right, and dealing with the return was frustrating. It wasn’t exactly cheap to send them back either, which made it even more annoying. I also felt like it took too long to get updates and finally receive my refund. Maybe others have had better luck, but for me, the whole experience just wasn’t worth the hassle.

I’ve been wearing these on colder days, and overall they do a good job of keeping my feet warm. For normal errands, quick walks, or just being out and about when it’s chilly, they’re totally fine and my feet stayed comfortable. I did notice that on longer walks in really cold weather, they weren’t quite warm enough the whole time, especially after I’d been outside for a while. So I wouldn’t say they’re perfect for serious cold or being out for hours, but for everyday winter use, they’ve been solid

I really wanted to like my Xero shoes, but they just didn’t really do it for me on hikes. On flatter dirt paths they were mostly fine, like okay enough, but once the trail got rocky my feet started feeling sore quick. I could feel a lot of the sharper bits underfoot, which got annoying after a while. The grip was alright, I guess, but not exactly great when things were a little wet. They’d probably be fine for short walks or easy trails, but for actual hiking, I don’t think I’d choose them again.

The shoes are okay overall, but the laces are kind of a pain. Not saying it’s a scam, but I definitely expected the fit to be easier to adjust. It took me a few tries to get them feeling right, and even then they still loosen up a bit after wearing them. The adjustability is there, it’s just not as simple or smooth as I thought it would be.

I picked these up mainly because they seemed super easy to travel with, and to be fair, they really do pack down flat. They barely take up any space in my bag, which is always a win because I somehow overpack every single time.

Comfort-wise, they were just okay for me. They’re fine for quick walks or running around a bit, but after a full day out, my feet were definitely complaining. I like the idea of them, just wouldn’t call them my favorite

Right out of the box, the wide toe area was the first thing I noticed, and it immediately felt like a relief. My toes actually had room to move, and that comfortable first impression held up all day.

I really wanted to like my Xero Shoes because they’re super light and felt comfortable when I first put them on. But once I wore them on gravel and some rough, rocky sidewalks, I could feel way more under my feet than I expected.
I get that barefoot shoes are supposed to feel minimal, but I mentioned needing something for everyday walking on uneven paths and it kind of felt like nobody actually read that. They’re fine for a quick short walk, but for anything rougher, the ground protection just isn’t enough for me.

After a muddy walk, the dirt rinses off so quickly that it feels like the right kind of product to have around. No fuss, no wasting time scrubbing forever, and it keeps the mess from getting dragged through the house. Super easy to clean.

So... I’ve been wearing these for regular daily stuff and they’re comfortable. They feel light on my feet, and even after walking around for a while, my feet don’t get super sweaty. I do think they could have a little better airflow, but overall I’m happy with them.

I got these Xero Shoes because I really wanted a vegan pair, and I do appreciate that they offer that option. At the same time, the materials just didn’t feel as nice as I hoped, kind of plasticky right out of the box.
They were lightweight and not terrible to walk in, but my feet got sweaty quickly, which was annoying. Weirdly, they felt both flexible and kind of cheap at the same time, and after only a few wears they already looked more beat up than I expected.

I can see how some people might like them, especially if the vegan aspect is the main priority. For me though, at this price, I wanted the materials to feel a little more premium, so I probably wouldn’t buy them again.

They’re comfy now, but the first week felt stiff. Once I wore them a bit more, they loosened up and felt way better.

I ordered from xeroshoes.com mostly because the prices felt reasonable compared to a lot of other barefoot shoe brands. Shipping was fine, and the shoes showed up in good shape, which I appreciated. For the price, I’m happy with them. They’re light, comfortable, and feel well made so far without being overly bulky or trying too hard to be fancy. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is that the sizing was a little tricky for me, and I had to do one exchange, which was a bit of a hassle. But overall, I’m grateful it worked out and I’m still glad I bought them...

It felt too floppy overall, so it didn’t give me the support or structure I was hoping for.

I expected the sizing issue to turn into a whole back-and-forth, but customer service got back to me quickly and made it super easy. They fixed it without overcomplicating anything, which was a nice surprise...

Pretty disappointed. The insoles flattened out and started peeling after just a few weeks, and I wasn’t even wearing them hard. Made the shoes feel weird. For the price, I expected a lot better
